fun

today my brother went to boy scout camp! AND HE'LL BE GONE UNTIL NEXT MONDAY!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! so (in celebration XD) my mum and i went to Seattle for the day. yes, yes i know; "OMG! MOMMA'S BOY!!!" is probably some of the reaction you guys are getting. rest assured, my mom is actually pretty cool. (and those who've met her know this). but anyway, we took a bus down to Pike Place Market and shopped around there, drooled over all the really good looking fruit and seafood (yes, i'm still a vegetarian. i just eat seafood cuz of the protein). then we walked by the art walk near the waterfront and saw this really amazing (and really cute :P) artist, who i later bought something from (he gave me a discount from 50$ to 10$ because i was the only one who really liked it.) then after that, we went up to Capitol Hill, where my self esteem suffered a severe blow because all the clothes i tried on at the Crossroads Trading Co looked horrible on me because of my weight ;__;. after we left there, we went to Urban Outfitters, where all their shirts were emo and all the pants were tight and 150$. needless to say, we moved on rather quickly to Hot Topic, where i got this slightly snug pair of pinstripe pants and a teal Fall Out Boy shirt (which i've been wanting FOREVER!) and then we took the bus back down to Seattle, giggling at the guys with the stretched ears. (i'm sorry, but those things, in my opinion, are hideous.) and then, from the next bus stop, walked back down to the waterfront to get the art piece (if i had been unclear before, he was holding it for us so we didnt have to carry it all day). we didnt want to pay so little, so we gave him 30$ instead of 10 and he, like, almost kissed us, i swear XD. then we walked practically for three miles trying to find the route 5 bus (which, in the end, wwe couldnt find) so we had to take 3 busses to get back home. and as an added bonus, my counselor got a BORDER COLLIE PUPPY!!! so we got to play with him for a bit. needless to say, today was fun ^.^

oh...and Rockstar: INXS is actually a really good show o.o. its like American Idol crossed with Big Brother with good music and DAVE NAVARRO IS ONE OF THE HOSTS!!! SEXY FUCKIN HUNK OF ROCK MANMEAT!!!
